Regional Manager

This position assists and reports to the Regional Director with the overall operation of the Annual donor program. 

Primary responsibilities include specific components of the direct mail program, growth of volunteer involvement, and direct solicitation of annual fund gifts.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Managing the annual and general solicitations for the region’s direct mail, email and social media fundraising programs, this includes working with Regional Director to develop annual theme and letters for annual solicitation program, supervising all components of each mailing, working with vendor, and overseeing data management, list pulls and data manipulation and clean up.
  • Managing the stewardship program for the region. This includes acknowledgements, stewardship visit, contacting donor to schedule visits, assist in preparing presentations, developing information packets for the attendees, and necessary follow-up.
  • Work with Regional Director in reviewing prospects, development solicitation strategies and determining implementation plan for strategy.
  • Planning and implementing annual reunion giving campaigns.
  • Creating personalized letters for the top 10-20% potential donors.
  • Developing strategies for giving and participation campaigns, including mail, phone and personal solicitations.
  • Overseeing gift counting, processing and reporting. Provide necessary documentation and follow-up to donors, volunteer, internal contacts and file. 
  • Participating in planning meetings, accepting special assignments, assisting colleagues and providing support for all ongoing programs and operations as needed.
  • Performing other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • 2-4 years of experience in fundraising with demonstrated achievement and an emphasis on annual giving programs.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data base management.
